About me:
Hello there, my name is Nia.
I am an illustrator who loves all things unique, from the beautiful to the surreal, from human to four legged. I am a character artist who loves giving characters personality and a strong visual style.
I've always loved drawing. When I was young I would draw on anything I could find. I very quickly realised that I would spend my life drawing and creating.

My favourite things to draw are creatures. You may have already noticed Fae, the blue fox that has accompanied your journey through my website. Fae was created several years ago, however he has taken on a new role as guardian of this website.

I find myself inspired by the creativity of indie projects such as Undertale, Avas Demon and ENA to name a few. I also find inspiration in larger places such as Nintendo’s Breath Of The Wild and Sega’s Sonic franchise. However, my true love is with Spyro, the re-ignited trilogy, as I find myself constantly seeking out the art and anything I can find regarding it.
Artist statement
Nia Hopkins is a Swansea based illustrator with a passion for character design. With a wide range of inspiration from the animal kingdom and phobias to mythology and video games, she works digitally using Procreate to effectively realise her vision. Nia is narrative driven and loves telling stories with, and through, her characters.
