Progect:REM

As part of my university degree I created and followed my own brief for a personal progect that was displayed at an end of year exhibition. This progect was created to emulate the art found in 2D platformer games such as Hollowknight and Disney Illusion island. The contends of this progect was then bound in a book for presentation.

Story:
A young lady finds herself in a strange facility and discovers that reality has been twisted after scientists attempted to extract her dreams to create a drug called REM. REM causes the taker to hallucinate their ideal lives while their bodies remain unmoving. The dream escaped before it could be made into REM and thus it changed into a nightmare, causing those still inside the facility to become the living embodiment of their phobias. Some are friendlier then others and will help the player along their journey.
